Waltham Forest require coaches & volunteers for disability hockey programme
We at WFHC are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant as part of the Olympics legacy, through Access Sport, to set up and run disability hockey sessions.
We are still at the early stages of planning so dates and times aren't confirmed yet but we would like to open up this exciting project to our hockey colleagues. Whilst this project will still be under the WFHC umbrella it will have a separate name so you will not be disloyal to your club by getting involved.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a new project, give back to the community and add something new to your CV.
We are looking for some level 2, level 1 and volunteers to help to run these sessions. Unfortunately these will not be paid positions but we will be in a position to offer further training to volunteers.
If you are interested and want to find out more please email Clare onclaredoody@hotmail.com |

With six mens teams and four ladies teams, West Herts is the ‘home of hockey’ in Watford. With departures for university and pastures new, we are looking for goalkeepers for the upcoming season. Ideally we are looking for a GK for our 3rd XI who finished 3rd in Div 4SW last season, narrowly missing out on promotion. However we are keen for any GKs of all abilities as we are currently short for the season.
As an ambitious and growing club, you can look forward to things such as the Men's EH Cup, the Mixed Trophy and the Men's Masters O-40's Cup, not to mention indoor hockey and plenty of social events throughout the season.
