How to use the search facility

The database can be searched by club name, astro name, or astro location.   

ClubSearch
This will display a page of all the information available on the club - league divisions, colours, officers, clubhouse address, clubhouse directions, club website address, and a list of the club's astros.  Clicking on the club website address will take you directly to the club website.  Clicking on any astro name will take you directly to a page of details about that astro.  Clicking on a map reference given as part of a directions section will take you to a corresponding page on the www.streetmap.co.uk site.

AstroSearch
A search can be carried out by name of astro, or by county location. Either will display the astro address, directions, and a link to a map.
Note:  An astro located outside East is assigned to the county of the main user club.  Middlesex astros used by Middlesex clubs are listed under Herts.  Rutland/Leicestershire astros used by clubs in those counties are listed under Cambs.
An astro located at a club site (but not a sports centre at which a club is resident) usually has the club name.

Note on Streetmap
Clicking on club or astro map links will take you to the Streetmap website.  The map displayed will include an arrow pointing to the location of the club or astro.  Clicking on the + or − buttons beneath the map, or on the intermediate buttons, will zoom the map in or out, and the arrow will remain pointing to the correct location.  All map references have been checked, but some errors may have survived  - if you find an incorrect map reference, please alert the webmaster.  You will need to use the back button to return to this website from www.streetmap Note: www.streetmap is maintained partly through advertising.  You may see one or two small pop-up advertisements when using the site - these can be closed at your convenience, and there should be no intrusive repetitions.

Updates
Clubs should verify that all their information in the database is correct.  Each club has its own password to enable the appropriate club officer to update the information as often as necessary.

Directions are given for most clubs and astros.  Some of these have been gleaned from other club or sports facility websites.  These contributions are duly acknowledged.
